Day16

  • Had a lesson like school about scuba diving - we also got homework!!!

  • Had a go at scuba diving in the swimming pool, the tank was sooooooo heavy!

Day 17

  • We did our shallow water dives (x2) and saw loads of amazing fish that were really pretty colours - angel fish and butterfly fish etc.

Day 18

  • We did our deep dive up to 18m, the water was really really clear and we got to see even more fish, such as the blue spotted ray. We also saw something that looked like a SNAKE which got my heart pumping a bit but it was an eel. We saw a puffa fish and trigger fish etc.

  • Sinead got really funny burn marks, where her wetsuit had been!!

  • Went to the tailor and got a shirt for my interview

Koh Samui

Day 14

  • We managed to book a flight to Koh Samui at about 3.30pm for that day, so we were both relieved we finally had a plan.

  • It also meant that we could do a spot of shopping on Khao San road which was good.

  • Arrived at our hostel which was interesting!!

  • Went out for a really good meal in The 3 monkeys .

Day 15

  • Got on the ferry to Koh Tao

Bangkok

Cambodia/Thailand

Day 13

  • We took a really horrible bus ride to the cambodian and thai border. I was trying not to be sick the whole way. As I was bored taking pics on the bus managed to get a really funny picture of a pig strapped to the back of the moped.

  • We got to the border and were very lucky to get through as I was almost sick on the guy checking the passports- not nice!

  • We finally arrived in Bangkok and were shocked how westernised it looked compared with Cambodia.

  • We went out for a really yummy dinner and had Chicken satay and rice, we then went to an old petrol station that had turned into a bar for good bye drinks.

  • Tensions started to rise between Sinead and I for the first time on the trip as we couldnt find a cheap flight to Koh Samui.
